No particular rhyme or reason to these photos, and if I had anything better to post, these would probably be relegated to Flickr, but they’ll have to fill the void for now. All taken this morning in Oakland:

ยป There is an inverse correlation between the conviction with which someone makes an assertion, and the likelihood that the assertion is true.
How sure are you about this?
April 16th, 2010 at 4:59 amhey, is that dog at e.15th and maybe 8th av? i’ve been seeing that dog house and wondering if there wa sa dog inside…
May 27th, 2010 at 5:50 pmgreenkozi: Yes, that’s the same dog. I think the cross street is 10th Avenue. The poor dog seems to be “guarding” a huge empty church parking lot all day, every day, and rarely seems to move from the dog house or the cloth that someone put down on the asphalt. As far as I can tell, no one ever pays any attention to her (him?), and when the gate is open for churchgoers on Sundays, the dog sometimes wanders around in the street. I assume someone feeds the dog, but otherwise she (er, he?) seems to be totally neglected. What’s your professional opinion about that situation, assuming that you have one?
