I guess Jerry Brown doesn't have a new baby--Linda Ronstadt is probably too old...

He dropped out a couple weeks ago. Since then, he has gone to hike the Appalachian trail---so to speak---in Hawaii (although unlike Mark Sanford, Newsom took his family with him), dodged the press at almost every opportunity, and seen several of his top staff members resign. He seems to hold the press at least partly responsible for his campaign's inability to get traction (although he did, somewhat oddly, get endorsed by Bill Clinton). Probably best not to run for governor when you have a new baby anyway, I would think.
