So Quaint, Those Brits
Some eminent British economists sent a letter to the Queen explaining how they failed to foresee the financial crisis. (Here, we just give such people high government posts instead.)

Is this not on your main page? Maybe you covered this wth your centenarian post, but I’m with avoice on the disconnect between the back and forward tabs on top of the page and the scroll of posts on the main page. Either integrate the marginalia or have the forward and back only cover non-marginal posts. Is that at all clear? Huh? What?
Nice of the Brits. They apologize and commit hari-kiri; we get presidential medals of freedom and columns in the times.
August 10th, 2009 at 4:52 pmI don’t really like having the marginalia show up in the “next post” and “previous post” links at the top of the page either. Maybe I’ll see if I can change that, but I may not have the technical know-how to be able to change it without accidentally breaking something else. I could drop Marginalia altogether, and just have those sorts of things show up in the center column along with everything else. I sort of like having a little separate section for those little tidbits, though.
