There used to be a two-lane road turning off to the right here, but they have torn up the pavement in preparation for expanding the park alongside Lake Merritt. All that grey, dusty ground behind the “Road Closed” sign will eventually be grass and walking paths, etc.
What am I looking at, exactly?

June 22nd, 2009 at 10:37 pmI’ve been to that spot a lot of times, but I’ve never seen it so colorful. Of course all that orange is temporary…
