("Fruitvale Hall," right?) I decided the big "for rent or sale" banner would ruin the photo, so I skipped it, but somehow I missed the eagle. That's a great building---I hope someone buys or rents it and does something interesting with it. It could make a great cultural venue of some sort, especially since it's only a block from the BART station. Gene: I almost took a picture of the Bingo building yesterday too! The clothehorsewomen picture is awesome. I also spotted another 'bird' just down the block towards BART from Bonanza on the Bingo hall. There's a flag pole leaning out above the door with an eagle on it. I just happened across the Bonanza sign today and posted a pic of it for my Oakland signs feature.
